Vietnamese Snack Time!

SNACK-PIE-ORO-CHOCOPIE-1

Vietnam has its fair share of yummy cheap snacks, though I don’t know many of them (at least the non the non-traditional stuff like m?c khô or cá khô). I do like these 2 though:

Introducing:

  • Choco-Pie! It’s kind of a dry chocolate covered twinky/doughnut. But since it’s super dry, it can’t be a twinky, but it’s not too bad tasting, and they’re only 3K VND (.20 USD) a package. Popular with kids!
  • O’Star! I have no idea what this name is from. Incidentally, both of these products are from Korean food company Orion. O’Star is pretty good, also only 3K VND a package, and is a very good resemblance to Pringles. In fact, while I really wouldn’t eat Choco-Pies unless desperate (I rarely eat junk food), I could see trouncing down a US Super Bowl Party-sized back of these. Sorry, no pictures online and I don’t feel like taking a picture of the bag right now.
